The Cutest Bib EVER!! and a new Template! and IDOL Worship!!

Ok, first I have to tell you about these adorable bibs, although they are really more like aprons. My cousin Britney makes them and I love the one I have!! My little guy is so messy and it's wonderful to have a bib that actually covers him and that he can't just pull off. Whenever he wears it, everyone Oohs and Aahs over it.

*Here is her ad and the latest fabric swatches. If you don't order at least one, you are totally missing out.

Also, I have put together a new template for you, enjoy:

As far as Idol Predictions go, I am predicting the bottom 2 to be:
Brooke
Jason or David A.
I am hoping that Jason goes home, but I am petrified that it will be Brooke!!

Let's Be Random Some More: Book Reviews

I have been feeling pretty crumby lately and have been hitting the books while I lounge around. Here is what I have been perusing. (One thing you probably don't know about me... I read mostly adolescent lit. I took an independent study class on it a few years back and got hooked. I haven't gotten sick of it yet. If you have any recommendations for me, I would love to hear them!)

Everything on a Waffle: Loved it!! It takes place in the Pacific Northwest, a locale near and dear to my heart. The characters are charming, the story interesting. It's believable enough to be fun and also ridiculous enough to be fun. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

It's Like This, Cat: Also really good. It reminds me of Catcher in the Rye, although I am not EXACTLY sure why. Anyway, it's like Catcher in the Rye, for 11 or 12 year olds. A great story, told well.

The Automatic Millionaire:This book I read at the request of my mother. She has been singing the praises of David Bach's books for a month now and apparently it has changed her life. I am not extremely savvy with money, but luckily I married someone who is. This book seems to be a common sense way to get rich, by automating your savings other strategies. What I really loved was that his last chapter emphasizes tithe-paying, which I am totally a believer in. It's a great way to bless your life and others. I have also checked out his Smart Women Finish Rich but haven't gotten to it yet.

Prophecy Rock: This is a mystery and only an "ok" one. What I loved were the interesting facts and stories about the Hopi people. The characters weren't extremely developed and the surprise ending didn't quite make sense.

Let's Be Random: A Product Review for Ped Egg

My sweet hubby bought me a "Ped Egg" last weekend and gave me a wonderful pedicure. It is the only thing that has come close to sloughing off all the yucky callouses and peely parts on my feet like a professional pedicure. And it was so easy. And pretty fun.(And no, I am not getting any money from these people, I just saw their info-mercial and was curious).

We got it at Walgreens and as a person with chronically gross feet, I am loving my new soft peds. One warning: I think I may have to not slough as much next time, because when I went to the gym this week I really felt like I was about to get a blister. Those callouses must have been actually doing something. Huh? Who would have thunk?

I give this product an A.
